How to go about the process
The preliminary step to go about this program would be to create a profile on the express entry web application. As opposed to the other programs, there are no points based system for selection purposes being employed here. Below are listed the minimum requirements for this program:
- Match the required language levels for writing, reading, speaking and listening.
- Have at least 1 year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) skilled work experience, within 3 years of your application for residence.
- You will have to ensure your skilled work experience is acceptable by the National Ocuupational Classification. Self-employment and working as a student (ex. co-op) will not count in the application.
- You must also plan to live outside Quebec as this program is not covered there.
