Sponsor Process
There are two ways to bring your parents or grandparents closer to you:
- Parent and Grandparent Immigration program
- Super Visa
Some requirements for the sponsor considering this application process:
- Must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
- Must be of at least 18 years in age.
- Must exceed mandate of minimum necessary income for this program (can be combined with spouse or common-law).
- An undertaking must be signed to repay an provincial social aid benefits provided to the sponsor and any family members.
- Must also meet the minimum necessary income for 3 years in succession distributed by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA).
